My work is intuitively originated as a vehicle for translating inner vision to outer reality. I consider past and present, images and text, certainty and uncertainty, clarity and obscurity, unity and individuality, permanence and ephemerality. To render these thoughts I combine abstraction with representation, text with imagery, color with black and white images. I use texture, color, marks, patterns, words, and imagery to visually sew information together.
